about
I believe I wrote this song before my trip to Seville to see my friend Mario at the beginning of 2020. The track strangely reminds me of the city, though it could simply be the excitement of waiting to travel to a beautiful, warm climate that inspired me.
The song itself is pretty pumped and I've been trying to make my simple ideas layered as opposed to complicated.
This is the first song to be released off this record, but I reckon it'll be an individual single each month....for eternity.
lyrics
Time is gone, time is on the wane.
Never did I think it would sink to this
Love is gone, Love is such a pain.
Never did I know I would say these words.
Am I wrong?
Is there more to this?
If ever there was a time to be close it's now.
Your heart shone.
Your heart led the way.
Never did I think I would hear you say.
